Requirements
- ✓Grade 12. No experience required. Be in a possession of a valid driver’s license with a valid PDP at own expense. Knowledge and understanding of customer care (Batho Pele Principles and six ministerial priorities of Health). Good communication skills with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, be prepared to work shifts and work under pressure. Be prepared to undergo driver’s pre-testing. The following will be added advantage: 2-5 years’ experience as a driver
About This Role
Transport patients and staff members to and from different destinations as prescribed by the transport manager. Proper maintenance of vehicle by ensuring that the vehicle is on roadworthy conditions. Safe keeping of transport documents by ensuring that log sheets and petrol slips are recorded after each trip, reporting any damages to the Supervisor. Transporting of theatre staff and hospital staff members that are doing emergency cases. Cleaning of vehicle after use and sanitizing of vehicle interior.
