Requirements
- ✓Grade 10 / Standard 8 Certificate.
- ✓EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):
- ✓Completion of a relevant, approved training programme.
- ✓Advantageous: 6 months production exposure in an underground mining environment.
- ✓Advantageous: 6 months working knowledge of trackless mining.
- ✓DUTIES (including but not limited to):
- ✓Be in charge of underground water pumps and maintains proper operation of the pumps.
- ✓Ensure pumps are operated effectively.
- ✓Minimize abuse of pumps and equipment. Extend pumping column to where required.
- ✓Connect pumps. Collect, install and maintain effective pumping.
