Requirements
- ✓Qualifications & Experience
- ✓Grade 12 (Matric) – mandatory
- ✓Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Distribution, or related field
- ✓Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- ✓Proven leadership experience managing teams in fast-paced operational environments
- ✓Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- ✓High proficiency in MS Office (especially advanced Excel), inventory management systems, databases, and carrier portals
- ✓Experience working in a culturally diverse environment

About This Role
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee end-to-end warehouse activities: receiving, picking, packing, distribution, inventory control, and LAB functions.
• Implement and monitor strong controls, procedures, and security measures to safeguard warehouse assets and operations.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through physical counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations with inventory systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all inventory transactions and stock movements.
• Manage warehouse facilities and equipment, including layout planning, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Address and resolve customer service queries, delivery issues, and stock-related escalations.
• Contribute to financial performance by managing the warehouse budget, monitoring expenditure, and driving corrective actions.
• Oversee compliance with audit standards, policies, and statutory requirements.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff, ensuring proper performance management, training, and adherence to SOPs.
• Work collaboratively with the Supply Chain Manager to support procurement and ensure availability of critical inventory.
• Manage and align regional warehouse operations with central standards for consistency and efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, training manuals, and process compliance frameworks.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and organisational projects as needed.
