What will you do? This role exists in our centralised Sanlam Life and Savings Compliance function where we focus on provision of compliance support and compliance assurance Sanlam Retail Mass In this position you will work with the compliance officers in the cluster compliance teams who will mentor, guide and support you during the internship period. What will make you successful in this role? This role offers you the opportunity to apply your graduate skills in a practical environment with the aim to support your professional development. Most tasks and responsibilities will require your dedicated contribution as part of a team, but individual initiative will be encouraged. Duties will include: Assist with research and gathering of information on new and existing regulations impacting the financial services industry. Assist with monitoring of compliance with applicable regulations and internal requirements. Assist with administration of regulatory training as required. Assist with drafting of compliance risk management plans on our Group Compliance Management System Liaising with internal stakeholders to assist with compliance meetings, training or workshops Assist with incident reporting, to ensure timeous escalation of compliance risks and incidents Requirements: Must be between the ages of 18-35 Should not have been already or previously included in another INSETA Internship funded programme
