Key Purpose of the Learnership
This Learnership Programme provides both academic learning and workplace exposure in Wealth Management. The successful candidate will gain essential experience in financial services, client administration, and operational support functions within Discovery Connect.
Areas of Responsibility
- Maintain accurate details and statistics on queries received and resolved.
- Coordinate administrative processes and route tasks to relevant departments.
- Respond to queries within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Manage departmental mailboxes efficiently.
- Assist with call retrieval requests and IT support for data tracking.
- Identify and flag potential sales opportunities.
- Support project rollouts and documentation initiatives.

Education and Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
- Mathematics – Minimum Level 4 (50%) or Maths Literacy – Minimum Level 5 (60%).
- English – Minimum Level 4 (50%) and a 2nd language – Minimum Level 4 (50%).
- Incomplete tertiary qualification in a financial field will be an advantage.
Specific Requirements
- Must not be engaged in post-Matric studies or formal employment.
- Must not have completed any previous learnership.
- Age: Between 18 and 30 years.
- South African citizens by birth only will be considered.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Excel and MS Outlook).
- Effective communication in written and spoken English.
