This is a unique opportunity for newly qualified B.Eng. Industrial Engineering graduates to gain hands-on experience in one of South Africa’s leading aviation companies. The role reports to the Business Optimisation Manager and offers exposure to a wide range of process improvement and efficiency projects within the airline industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in documenting, analysing, and improving business processes.
Contribute to projects and process initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of assigned tasks.
Conduct as-is analyses and design to-be process improvements for optimisation initiatives.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials to support rollouts.
Participate in problem-solving sessions and support continuous improvement projects.
Learn to map processes (simple and complex) using BPMN 2.0 notation.
Maintain documentation and records on project management tools.
Communicate progress effectively with stakeholders and update project statuses regularly.
Gain exposure to relevant software tools to enhance process competence and performance tracking.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
B.Eng. Industrial Engineering degree (Essential)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
