Vodacom Early Careers 2027 — Graduate Programme and Internship Now Open

Vodacom has opened applications for its 2027 Early Careers Programmes, and this is one of the most sought-after graduate opportunities in South Africa every year. Two tracks are available: the Discover Graduate Programme for those looking for a permanent role from day one, and the Internship Programme for those who want to build experience before stepping into a full career. Both start in early 2027 and close on 31 August 2026.
If you are finishing your degree this year or have recently graduated, this is the time to apply. Vodacom processes a high volume of applications and getting yours in early puts you ahead of the rush.
Discover Graduate Programme
A 2-year leadership development programme with global rotation opportunities. Ends in a permanent role within Vodacom. Starts 1 February 2027.
12-Month Paid Internship
A structured internship with real-world exposure across different areas of the business. Serves as a pipeline into the Graduate Programme. Starts February or March 2027.

Who Can Apply
Requirements are the same for both programmes:
- Completing or have completed an undergraduate degree by end of 2026
- Minimum B-degree (B-Com, BSc or B-Tech) at NQF Level 7
- A 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) is accepted only in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, or Information Systems/IT
- Minimum 65% aggregate on completed or most recent academic results
- Less than two years of work experience in a corporate or formal environment
- South African citizen or permanent resident (Graduate Programme also considers citizens of DRC, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Egypt and Tanzania for roles in those markets)
- For the Internship Programme, South African citizen by birth only

Both programmes look for candidates who are purpose-driven, digitally comfortable and genuinely eager to grow. You do not need years of experience.
