Requirements:
A Matric certificate along with a qualification in IT Fundamentals, A+, N+, or similar. 0 - 6 months of experience as a help desk technician or similar role. Proficiency in Windows / Mac OS. Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software. Some experience with desktop hardware support. A+ and N+ or relevant on the job experience dealing with computer and network troubleshooting. Valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle. Good attention to detail and ability to show initiative. The ability to work flexibly and with enthusiasm. The ability to communicate well with people at all levels verbally and in writing.
Description:
As IT Support at Ozow you will use your knowledge and specialised skills to implement technical solutions and provide high quality technical support to the team to address internal hardware and software issues. You can troubleshoot and solve straightforward problems that do not have defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You need to have problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills. Provide the team with technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware (this may be in person / via MS Teams / over the phone / via email). Hardware asset management. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Follow up with staff to ensure that the issue has been resolved. Printing / scanning support (IP printing, shared network printing, local printers etc.) Logging of all queries via the online Help Desk System.
