Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional manner. Positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn. Able to travel locally and attend occasional events outside normal hours if required. Basic computer skills (social media editing, email, MS Word/Google Docs).

Mphaphuli Town is seeking a motivated part-time Marketing team member to support our local outreach and community engagement initiatives. You’ll be part of a small, energetic team focused on promoting local programs and events to residents. Role overview The Marketing (Part-time) role supports planning and executing simple marketing activities — social media posts, local event promotion, printed flyers, and community engagement. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about marketing, communicates well, and enjoys working with people. Key responsibilities Assist with creating and scheduling social media content (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp groups). Support the design and distribution of flyers, posters, and basic printed materials. Help promote local events and community programs; attend events when required. Assist with basic market research and gathering feedback from residents. Maintain simple marketing reports (reach/attendance) and update contact lists. Coordinate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and positive community interactions.
