Requirements:
Three-year National Diploma (NQF6)/Undergraduate Degree (NQF7) in Information Technology. An A+ and/or N+ certificate will be an advantage. Employment Status: Unemployed and seeking workplace experience. Education: Be in possession of a matric certificate and a relevant post-school qualification. Nationality: South African Special note: Must have never participated in any internship before Equity Considerations: Priority will be given to candidates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, in line with the Department’s transformation objectives. Those living with a disability will also be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a completed and signed Z83 form. Shortlisted candidates must provide a recent CV, certified copies of their Matric certificate, qualifications (360/480 SAQA-recognized credits), academic record, and ID. Description:
The Department of Employment and Labour would like to invite qualifying graduates to apply to participate in an internship program for a period of 24 months. Applicants must be unemployed graduates, should not have participated in an internship program previously, and must be South African citizens. Install and troubleshoot desktop applications. Provide support on user account requests and issues (create user, unable to log on, etc.). Monitor and update call escalations until the call is resolved. Conducts call management on the Information Technology Service Management System (ITSM). Follow up and update the troubleshooting activity on active calls
