The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager (GM) in overseeing daily restaurant operations for the Gauteng branch, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience, and driving financial performance. This role is integral to managing administrative tasks, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), executing business strategies, and leading staff training and develop Responsibilities Total Guest Experience Ensure all guests receive outstanding service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience. Uphold and enforce the restaurant's service standards, ensuring all staff align with the vision of delivering an exceptional guest experience. Financial Management Assist in managing the restaurant’s budget by monitoring expenses, revenue, and profitability. Implement and oversee cost control measures to optimize profitability while maintaining high service and quality standards. Review and analyze financial reports (sales, labor costs, inventory levels) and provide recommendations for improvement. Administration and KPI Management Oversee daily administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess restaurant performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports on operational and financial performance to the GM. Planning and Execution Collaborate with the GM to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the restaurant's business goals and objectives. Ensure the effective implementation of operational strategies, including menu changes, service improvements, and special events. Address and resolve operational challenges promptly, implementing solutions to improve overall restaurant performance.
