PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The purpose of a Delivery Driver is to safely drive the assigned truck, conduct pre-inspection checks to ensure roadworthiness, verify and deliver goods accurately and on time, maintain effective communication, uphold safety and compliance standards, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the efficient transportation of goods. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Keep accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, delivery receipts, and any incidents or accidents that occur during duties. These records should be maintained in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers, warehouse personnel, and other stakeholders. They should aid and address any concerns or questions related to the delivery process promptly and professionally.
