Requirements:
A senior Certificate (Grade 12 Matric). A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. Certification: Adroit Training Certificate CCTV Installer Training Certificate
Description:
Work on live electrical/security equipment under strict safety protocols. Work extended hours and travel frequently to clients and roadside sites. Be exposed to abnormal working conditions requiring varying levels of physical effort and involving potential risks or discomfort. ADVANTAGEOUS: Experience in Servers and IP Networking protocols. Experience performing skilled repair of CCTV access systems, electrical fence work using specialized tools and equipment. SCADA Experience. Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions related to maintenance work. Knowledge of Network Switches. Knowledge of AJAX systems. Knowledge of Hardcat Systems. Working on Heights and Medical Fitness. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Understanding of standard procedures for handling security operations, system monitoring, and incident response. Deep understanding of security-related products and services, including CCTV, access control, and electric fence systems. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and internal compliance standards. Knowledge of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, their functionality, integration, and graphical user interface (GUI). In-depth knowledge of Gallagher access control systems, including installation, programming, and application design. Strong understanding of proper documentation practices to ensure audit readiness, compliance reporting, and accurate case history records.
