  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

About This Role

Main purpose of the position:

Ensure timeous payment of the OVK groups creditors by complying with legislation and company policy and maintaining the payment process and effective handling of all administrative tasks with regard to the administrative department.

Skills:

Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;

Computer literate (MS Office);

Good interpersonal and conflict handling skills;

Sound numeracy, meticulous and accuracy is essential;

Must be able to function independently and under pressure;

Good organisation and prioritising abilities.

Responsibilities:

Prepare payments to suppliers;

Ensure basic reconciliations balance;

Resolve queries regarding payments;

Allocations of deposits on bank statements;

Processing of journals;

General Admin.
