About the Role
As an Apprentice at VW Kempton Park, you will embark on a hands-on learning journey in the automotive industry. This entry-level position focuses on providing vital support in various operational aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair. You will gain practical experience while acquiring foundational skills essential for a successful career in automotive service and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Support routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Carry out inspections and tests on vehicles to ensure they comply with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.
- Learn to operate diagnostic tools and systems used in vehicle assessment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and any challenges encountered.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental practices.
