Requirements
- ✓Grade 10/Standard 8 Technical qualification (Essential/Minimum)
- ✓AET Level 4 certification (Essential/Minimum)
- ✓Completion of one or more Skills Programs: AA Fitting, AA Diesel Mechanic, AA Plater Welder, or AA Electrical (Essential/Minimum)
- ✓Minimum of 1-year applicable technical support experience as a Helper/Operator in a heavy industry environment
- ✓Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- ✓Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- ✓Proficiency in conducting first-level inspections and basic fault-finding on mechanical and electrical equipment
- ✓Capability to assist in both reactive and scheduled maintenance of equipment to ensure availability and reliability
- ✓Ability to adhere to health and safety practices, promote good housekeeping, and rectify unsafe practices
- ✓Skills in welding, cutting, and installation of refractory work
- ✓Duties & Responsibilities
- ✓Assist artisans in servicing, maintaining, and overhauling machinery and equipment.
- ✓Conduct first-level inspections and identify deviations in mechanical and electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns or production delays.
