Requirements
- ✓Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification with no experience. Knowledge of customer service, self-driven and motivated. Must be able to read, write. Ability to communicate at all levels (good communication skills). Customer care, interaction skills, ability to work in a team as well as working alone. Knowledge of OHS Act. Knowledge of cleaning Practices, Knowledge of operating cleaning equipment. Ability to work under pressure and must be prepared to work shifts including night shifts and public holidays. 2-5 years’ Experience in cleaning will be an added advantage. Experience in a hospital environment will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to Pretoria West residents.
About This Role
Wipe and mop floors. Cleaning lockers, steel dustbins and basins. Correct usage of equipment and chemicals. Clean toilet and mark check list three times a day. Replace hand towels and refill soap bottles in cubicles, side wards, bathrooms, bowl rooms and toilets. Clean lockers, bedsteads, curtain rails and trolleys. Clean / disinfect and do terminal cleaning. Clean machines, clean double mop unit, clean mops, clean buckets, dusters / dustbin cloth after use. Clean equipment three times a week. Clean the buckets, double mop units, mops and polisher after every use. Ensure the safe keeping of cleaning equipment / material. Perform all other duties delegated by Supervisor/Manager within scope of practice.
