Requirements
- ✓Minimum qualification: Grade 12 Certificate.
- ✓Knowledge: Health Information Management, Validation, and Interpretation.
- ✓Computer packages: Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Access (proof must be attached).
- ✓Added advantage: Certificate in Web-DHIS or Experience in Health Information Management.
- ✓Information management: Knowledge of processes and procedures, including data collation, processing, reconciliation, analysis, presentations, and reporting.
- ✓Health systems: Knowledge of information systems used in health.
- ✓Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- ✓Batho-Pele: Knowledge of Batho-Pele Principles.
- ✓Languages: Proficiency in English and other official languages.
- ✓Driving: Valid driver's licence.

Duties:
- Ensure reliable information and timely information reporting on National Tertiary Services Grant and Web-DHIS.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports on National Tertiary Services Grant and Web-DHIS.
- Compile summary of activities on DHIS and compile monthly mother and child data.
- Improve data quality by performing training of staff in data collection, providing feedback, standardising filing of reported data, and validating data by comparing DHIS and monthly summaries.
- Effective SOP implementation to improve data quality and completeness.
- Perform data reconciliation with all reporting units.
- Administration, monitoring, and evaluation of utilisation by end-users of HIM tools.
- Collection, collation, and analysis of data.
- Verify submitted data with data sources on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ensure that Information Officers support Ward Admin clerks on a daily basis to comply with DHMIS policy requirements.
- Ensure that weekly sign-off is signed by the Operational Manager.
- Provide training on data elements and performance indicators.
- Capturing of quality client data and management: capturing data on the computer (Excel Database, Web-DHIS).
- Administrative functions and line management.
- Capacity development in information management.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
