Requirements:
Relevant IT Certification/ Diploma in IT advantageous. Experience in IT/Networking is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and troubleshooting skills. Must be available full time August 2024 - August 2025. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Must have own transportation as travel between sites will be required. Have a keen interest in staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in desktop support and networking.

Responsibilities: Desktop Support: Install and set up desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.). Troubleshoot and fix hardware, software, and connectivity issues for users. Document issues and solutions for future reference. Help maintain the asset inventory. Assist with setting up and managing equipment for new and departing employees. Network Support: Help maintain and troubleshoot the local network (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi). Monitor network performance and report issues. Assist with network changes or expansions. Assist in performing cabling and network setup tasks. Other Responsibilities: Provide friendly and prompt customer service to users. Participate in IT team projects. Maintain a professional and positive attitude. Follow company guidelines on technology use and data security. Show initiative to improve IT skills and knowledge.
