EPWP Project Support Opportunities 2026 – Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment has opened applications for its EPWP Project Support Programme under Group 07: Youth & Contractor Development. This programme offers unemployed South African youth an opportunity to gain valuable work experience through a one-year fixed-term contract.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Successful applicants will assist with:

Youth empowerment and development projects

Evaluation of monthly reports and project evidence

Invoice processing and supporting finance documentation

Training implementation and project coordination

Uploading project information and contracts onto systems

Filing and administration of project documents

Spreadsheet reporting and project data capturing

Site visits and project monitoring

General administrative support within the Directorate
