Job description

RCL Foods, maker of brands like Yum Yum, Nola, Ouma and Sunbake, is hiring a General Worker on a fixed-term contract in its baking business in Durban, reporting to the Production Manager. Reference: RCL261012-3.

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Basic baking and loading exposure
• Manufacturing or bakery experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Do start-up checks on equipment as per procedures
• Report breakdowns and machine issues to the team leader
• Look after equipment and utensils
• Keep the work area clean and tidy ("clean as you go")
• Do a handover with the next shift
