IT Intern (Workplace Integrated Learning)- Cape Town

Novus Print is currently seeking to appoint 2 IT Interns to assist the IT team with the day-to-day running of the department. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious student studying towards a qualification and requires in-service training/work exposure for a period of 12 months.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and assist the IT team on tasks related to the full IT and end user function

• Assist with IT and end user related queries

• Suggest upgrades, implementation and or integration solutions

• Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to end users

• Assist with regular planned maintenance of networks and systems

• Assist with end user requirements and resources

• Understand service delivery and delivering on deadlines

• Carry out administrative duties and ensure effective administration processes are adhered to

• Assist with technical problems with computer hardware and software, desktop and server

• Obtain an understanding of minimal downtime, customer satisfaction, efficient resolution of calls logged to the IT help-desk function
