The purpose of the learnership is to assist learners in developing essential skills and knowledge in Food and Beverage Services.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Learn to describe layouts, services, and facilities within the organisation

• Learn about sectors within the Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism industries

• Maintain health, hygiene, and a professional appearance

• Communicate effectively in a professional environment

• Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues

• Display cultural awareness when dealing with customers and staff

• Perform basic workplace calculations

• Prepare and clear areas for table service

• Provide table and drink service

• Maintain drink and table service standards

• Clean and restock drinks machines and equipment

• Clean and properly store glassware
