Requirements:
Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 15 - 35 years. Must not be funded or receiving financial assistance through a sponsorship or bursary scheme from any other institution or organisation. Must be available for an interview when requested and be willing to sign a Bursary Agreement. Must submit proof of registration/admission. Must be eligible to study for the specified qualification at the relevant institution of higher learning. For first-year applicants, Grade 11 results/Grade 12 mid-term results reflecting a minimum average of 65% must be submitted. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS (SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS) Certified copy of admission/registration letter for the academic year you are applying for. Certified copy of latest official Academic Record (if in tertiary institution) or Grade 11 results/Grade 12 mid-term results if currently in Matric. Certified copy of identification document (ID). Motivational letter. Quotation of academic year’s tuition fees. CLOSING DATE: 23 December 2025 Application forms are available at www.rsr.org.za/careers. The Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) is a public entity established under Section 4 of the National Railway Safety Regulator Act No.16 of 2002. The RSRs core mandate is to oversee and enforce safety performance across all railway operators in South Africa, including those from neighboring states whose rail operations extend into the country. The RSR invites South African school leavers and students aged 15 - 35 years who are currently studying or wish to pursue undergraduate studies at recognised and accredited institutions of higher learning (such as TVET Colleges, Universities of Technology and Private and Public Universities) in the following fields: Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering Information Technology Human Resources Management Media and Communications Law Financial Management Internal Audit Supply Chain Management Risk Management
