- ✓Minimum grade 10 certificate, but a Grade 12 will be an advantage
- ✓Previous experience in a production environment preferred
- ✓Ability to lift and move heavy objects such as pallet jacks
- ✓Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- ✓Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- ✓Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory
- ✓Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Packer/ General Assistant. The primary responsibility of the Packer/ General Assistant is to ensure that all products are properly sorted, stacked, packed and prepared according to company guidelines and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack according to specifications
- Ensure that all products are properly labeled and coded for accurate tracking
- Assist the operator with
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform basic troubleshooting and safely clear jams to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect products for defects or damage before packaging
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Meet productivity goals and deadlines set by the supervisor
- Communicate effectively with team members, operator and supervisor
