Pad Packer (Night Shift)

Job description

Job Purpose To provide vital support to the team, preparing, checking and packing orders ensuring smooth, safe and efficient running of operations in accordance to production objectives. Key Performance Areas • Collect orders from warehouse. • Pack and unpack boxes. • Check quality of products to ensure adherence to standards. • Report deviation from standards to supervisor or team leader. • Assist in other positions and departments in accordance with operational requirements. • Ensure achievement of targets in line with quality standards in a highly pressurised environment. • Adhere to Safety regulations and report any safety irregularities to management. • Maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements

• Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ similar experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• Prior experience in packing within the Screen department will be an added advantage.
• Able to work overtime / weekends in accordance with operational requirements
