Purpose of role

To support the HR Ops team by providing administrative and operational assistance in the day to day of the HR ops team in Takealot Group. The People/HRl Intern will gain exposure to hr operations, functions and systems while assisting with day-to-day People/HR activities.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong data capturing and administration skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Knowledge of the applicable legislation, such as BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, etc.

Understanding of principles and procedures for HR related functions, such as recruitment, training, benefits, labour relations, etc.

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Good organizational and time management skills

Ability to handle confidential information

Key Responsibilities:

Filing

Scanning documents

HR Administration (assistance with preparation of HR documents, labour broker change forms)

Management of the onboarding process

Supporting the HR and business with employee queries

HR Systems Administration (Axio, Intranet, The hub, Greenhouse)

Payroll Administration (UI-19, Confirmation of employment, IRP5 etc)

HR Communication (new starter emails)

Assisting with CCMA case

Assistance with HR Projects

This is a contract position

This is a contract position as part of the Internship Programme.
