Job Description

Adcock Ingram Distribution is looking for 2* Warehouse Operators in Midrand, to:

Perform the physical tasks involved in the picking, checking, packing, shipping of orders to our customers in a manner that meets company standards/guidelines for safety, security, and productivity.

The warehouse Operator is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all orders picked, checked, and packed.

Key Job Outputs:

• Ensure all tasks (picking, packing, checking, shipping of orders to customers) are done as per SOP’s/guidelines.

• Checking the machinery on daily basis for any faults and informing supervisors of equipment malfunctions that needs to be addresses.

• Maintain high standard of housekeeping.

• Adherence to prescribed SOP’s, Health and Safety, Environmental procedure and GDP/GWP guidelines.

• Assist with stock take and cycle counts.

• Ensure accuracy and quality control is maintained in all tasks.

• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.

• Verifies and ensures that stocks picked from inventory are accurate and reports any discrepancies and obvious damages.

• Prepares orders for shipment by picking orders in an accurate and timely manner with RF scanner

• Stacks and stores materials in designated areas

• Performs related duties as and when assigned.

• Assist QA team when required.
