SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED •Good communication skills (verbal and written). •Good planning and organising. •Teamwork and observant. •Good listening skills. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS •Must pass company and/or client criminal screening processes. •Must be physically, mentally and medically fit as per company and/or client standards. •Willingness to work rotating shifts as required. •Availability to work overtime when necessary. We are looking to attract key talent to add to our existing pool of highly sought-after professionals.” Job Description PURPOSE An exciting opportunity exists to ensure that all planned operational targets for the Water Division are met as per contractual obligation in time and of good quality. RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the supervisor to achieve the planned operational targets. Perform daily inspections in the designated area of responsibility. Plan and manage the water sites. Assist with problem-solving on operational challenges and report any deviations to the immediate supervisor. Adhere to all procedures in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislation and company procedures. Participate in all toolbox talks, risk assessments, Planned Task Observations and safety meetings. Clean screens, grit channels, anoxic, aeration, clarifier, chlorine contact channel and sump basins. Conduct testing and recording MLSS, DSVI, RAS, SS, PH, DO, free and total chlorine, flow meter reading, screens, grit and breakdowns. Remove all dry sludge from drying beds and all other wastes. Check chlorine dosing and available stock levels. Open and close valves in line with operational lines.
