Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and portion standards.
Assist with food preparation, ingredient preparation, and meal service.
Ensure food is presented attractively and served on time.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness.
Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and minimizing food wastage.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies and procedures.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas.
Assist with costing, portion control, and reducing food waste.
Support the Chef and kitchen team in daily operations.
Ensure all food products are stored correctly and safely.
Step in to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
