The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Community Development Department is offering Internship opportunities to suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. The Interships will run for a a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months. Position Title: Finance Internship Department: Community Development Department Reference No / Circular: CIRCULAR 020/2026 Duration: 18 Months contract Stipend: Completed qualification: R10 109,86 pm (Basic Salary, no benefits) Enrolled as a student : R 4 951,88 pm (Basic salary, no benefits) Location: 66 Jorissen Street, Braamfontein Primary Function: To support the directorate in financial management by managing Asset management, Income and revenue, Accounting and budgeting, supply chain management and capital management that contributes to the effective adherence to policies, clean audit and good governance for the City of Johannesburg. Responsibilities Asset Management Income and Revenue management to ensure correct reporting Accounting and Budgeting Supply Chain Management Capital Management
Requirements
- Grade 12 plus Degree or Nationa Diploma in: Accounting / Internal Audit / Local Government Finance / Public Finance,
- Or N6 Financial Management
