Hello… an exciting new opportunity has become available in our IT Division Area. We are looking to recruit an IT Learner. Role Ojectives: The Hollard IT Learnership Programme is designed to provide aspiring technology professionals with practical workplace experience, digital and technical skills development, and a strong foundation for a career in Information Technology. The programme combines structured learning with hands on exposure to technology environments and business operations.Are you passionate about technology, innovation, and solving problems? Ready to gain real world experience while building a nationally recognised qualification? Hollard's IT Learnership Programme offers ambitious young South Africans a unique opportunity to kick start a rewarding career in the digital world. Over 12 months, you'll gain hands-on exposure to technology teams, digital business operations, systems, data, and modern workplace tools while learning from experienced professionals and mentors. You'll develop practical technical skills, strengthen your problem solving abilities, and build the confidence needed to thrive in a professional technology environment.

Requirements

  • South African citizenship and age between 18 and 26 years.
  • Strong academic results in English, Mathematics, and CAT or Physical Science.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • A genuine interest in technology, innovation, and digital solutions.
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and adaptability.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
  • Educational Requirements
  • Completed Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Passed English – 60% or higher and an additional South African language
  • Passed Maths – 60%
  • Passed CAT or Physical Science – 50%

Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to IT environments, digital business operations, and technology enabled business processes.
  • Participate in structured learning activities and workplace projects.
  • Assist with basic IT administrative and operational tasks.
  • Develop problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, mentors, and colleagues.
  • Learn about systems, applications, data, digital tools, and business technologies.
  • Complete learning requirements towards nationally recognised qualifications.
