Requirements
- ✓Grade 10 with 1 year of proven experience as a store’s assistant.
- ✓REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):
- ✓Product Knowledge;
- ✓Warehouse management systems;
- ✓Stock Administration;
- ✓Knowledge of Building maintenance and plumbing and stores financial systems;
- ✓Health and Safety procedures;
- ✓Computer Literacy;
- ✓Ability to convey information clearly and concisely;
- ✓Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with others in order to encourage and support communication and teamwork;
- ✓Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills and methods to reduce tension and resolve conflict;
- ✓Ability to develop plans to accomplish work operations and objectives;

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with receiving of stock, issuing of stock, handling delivery notes and invoices at the counter, providing effective client service and assisting with stock counts;
Ensure proper stock control and safe store housekeeping;
Perform labour-intensive duties associated with the position, including loading, unloading, lifting, carrying and moving of stock and materials, as well as prolonged standing and walking within the store’s environment.
