Physical preparation of samples for analyses. Responsible for sample retention and waste management. Scanning of routine samples on NIR. Responsible for minor analytical procedures such as moisture determination. Housekeeping of starage areas and cleaning of laboratory utensils when required.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Timeous and quality sample preparation (splitting, milling and drying)
Scanning of samples on all NIR instruments
Instrumentation care & cleaning of designated areas
Maintenance of sample retention store and cold room
General waste management
Washing of glassware and plastic timeously
Adhere and contribute to all quality and safety systems in the laboratory
Add Hoc Tasks
