Learner Electro-Mechanic (Millwright) Apprenticeship

Job description

Sasol is recruiting apprentices to train as qualified Millwrights (electro-mechanics) at its Secunda and Sasolburg mining operations, under SETA (QCTO) and National Artisan Moderation Board (NAMB) requirements. Training covers electrical and mechanical equipment, maintenance of underground production equipment, equipment safety and good housekeeping. Selection includes a psychometric assessment, medical and fitness assessment, security clearance and qualification checks. Requirements

• Grade 12 (6 subjects) with at least 40% in Maths or Technical Maths, English and Physical or Technical Science
• OR N3 (6 subjects) with at least 40% in Mathematics, Engineering Science and Business English/Communications
• Computer literate, good communicator and willing to learn
• Able to pass medical, fitness and security checks
