Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
The candidate will be required to work with and assist artisans and operational staff to learn and understand how equipment is used and maintained for reliability.
Adaptable to change
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
Willing to travel and work in outdoor mining environments
Must have sufficient theoretical and technical knowledge of mechanical equipment.
Must be analytical and a problem solver
Must be a fast learner
Must demonstrate basic understanding of Mechanical Systems and their application
Inspect equipment and identify reliability issues with team members and schedule repair interactions
Replace parts on operational equipment
Repair parts / components on equipment
Be part of the on site oil health team
Perform Root Cause Analysis to improve reliability and prevent reoccurrence of failures
Be able to take lead and supervise a team of production or maintenance personnel where required by site management
This is a remote site-based position. This is not an office-based position
