The role is designed to give the intern practical workplace experience towards completion of a National Diploma, while supporting project documentation, maintenance records, scheduling, tracking and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining accurate project and maintenance records, files, registers and reports.
Capture and update data on spreadsheets, trackers, maintenance schedules and project progress reports.
Support the coordination of planned maintenance activities, inspections, contractor visits and project meetings.
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, record action items and follow up on outstanding tasks.
Assist with purchase requisitions, quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes and invoice documentation.
Liaise professionally with internal departments, suppliers, contractors and service providers when required.
Support the preparation and formatting of correspondence, presentations, reports and maintenance documentation.
Assist with health, safety and compliance documentation, including checklists, inspection records and incident forms.
Provide general administrative support to the Projects and Maintenance Manager and team members.
