To fulfil all payroll tasks for allocated DC Retail Stores.

Job description

Review and process employee hours submitted by stores.

Entering and updating employee information into payroll system.

Capturing hours worked, leave, overtime of employees.

Processing of deductions (PAYE, UIF, skills, provident fund, funeral benefits etc.)

Update payroll system with employee movements.

Ensuring that payroll is run within the time frames and deadlines.

Month End payroll reconciliation and processing, reporting and administration.

Ensuring that all payments for the various deductions are correct.

Addressing store enquiries related to salaries and resolve discrepancies that may arise.

Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues relating to employee wages.

Prepare monthly and yearly reports on payroll for management review.

Termination of employees from the system, including certificate of service, UIF and final payslips.

Follow internal controls to prevent fraudulent activities and errors in the payroll and accounts payable process.

3 years payroll experience

VIP

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
