Job description

The Compensation Fund has one Security Officer position available.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
• PSIRA Grade C Security Certificate
• Knowledge of relevant security legislation and regulations
• Knowledge of security operations and risk management
• Communication and conflict-management skills
• Investigation skills
• Knowledge of MISS and MPSS
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Knowledge of the Firearms Control Act and Criminal Procedure Act

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will conduct security control according to departmental policies and procedures, provide security for equipment, buildings and premises, and perform security patrols.
