Job description
Clicks Group is hiring a Shop Assistant / Cashier at Clicks Malelane Ingwe Centre to deliver service excellence through efficient customer service, point of sale (POS) operational activities and merchandising in store. Job objectives: - Execute all operational activities at the point of sale efficiently and timeously - Maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including ClubCard rewards - Ensure the safe handling of cash at all times - Promote the Clicks ClubCard and enrol new members - Make customers aware of promotions - Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador - Execute and maintain merchandising and general housekeeping duties to store standards
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level (desirable)
- Customer-facing retail/FMCG experience (desirable)
- Basic maths calculations, computer literacy and good communication skills
