You have your Matric certificate. You know how to use a computer. You are interested in technology, but every time you search for an IT job, employers seem to want experience you have never had the opportunity to gain. What if your first step into the technology industry did not require a university degree or previous work experience? The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for its Cloud Administrator (NQF Level 4) Learnership Programme 2026/2027.

Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
• Age Requirement: 18–35 years
• Employment Status: Unemployed
• Citizenship: South African citizens
• Computer Literacy: Required
• Previous Work Experience: Not required

Responsibilities

• mplementing cloud management services.
• Monitoring cloud computing environments.
• Supporting cloud users and computing resources.
• Maintaining cloud performance.
• Managing and monitoring servers and networks.
• Supporting data storage and cloud services.
• Troubleshooting technical problems.
• Applying cloud security controls.
• Protecting systems against unauthorised access and security threats.
