Job description

APEX is an 18-month development programme at Lesaka Technologies combining permanent employment from day one with professional, commercial and leadership development. Streams include technology, finance and operations, with roles ranging from cybersecurity and data analysis to finance, risk and commercial strategy. Graduates gain exposure to Lesaka's financial-services and technology businesses while solving practical problems. Previous fintech experience is not required; selection emphasises academic achievement, leadership potential and demonstrated capability. Applications close 30 October 2026.

Requirements

• Minimum 75% academic average
• Relevant qualification aligned to technology, finance or operations; final-year students considered
• Evidence of leadership through university, work, community or entrepreneurial activities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Curiosity about technology and financial services

Responsibilities

• Deliver real business outputs within a permanent role
• Work on strategic challenges with senior leaders
• Identify AI and technology opportunities for automation
• Develop cross-functional understanding of customers and operations
• Complete an executive-sponsored business challenge and present recommendations
