Cashier – Carlswarld (Midrand)

Job description

Dis-Chem requires experienced cashiers for its Carlswarld stores in the Midrand region. Duties include recording transactions, processing payments and authorised exchanges, managing cash securely and assisting customers with merchandise queries. Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 6 months' cashier/till operations experience
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Sound numerical skills, strong English and basic customer service
• Knowledge of operating cash registers, maintaining cash drawers and processing sales, refunds and payments
• Accuracy, attention to detail, accountability, problem-solving and time management
• Willing and able to work retail hours
• South African citizenship
• Clear credit and criminal records
• Reliable transport and/or residence close to the store
• A third additional language is advantageous
