General Worker (Driver's Assistant)

Job description

Montego Pet Nutrition is looking for a reliable team player in Durban to load and offload inbound and outbound stock and assist the driver on deliveries. Ref: GWDADBN26/10/01. Closing date: 10 November 2026.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4
• Code C1 (10) with PrDP or Code EC (14) licence is ideal but not required
• Physically fit and able to lift bags of up to 40kg
• Willing to travel long distances with the driver, including early starts and overnight stays
• Flexible to work outside normal hours

Responsibilities

• Load stock onto trucks, checking for damage and securing loads
• Offload stock according to Proof of Delivery
• Pack and secure returned stock
• Assist the driver with paperwork, deliveries and keeping the truck clean
• Pick and stack stock
• Follow safety and FSSC 22000 food safety standards
