Job description

Description HP LIFE is a free online learning programme from the HP Foundation that helps young people build business and digital skills for the workplace. It offers more than 30 short, self-paced courses in areas like communication, digital business skills, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, operations and professional development. Every course is free, and you get a Certificate of Completion each time you finish one, which you can add to your CV. You can study on a computer or on the free HP LIFE mobile app, which also lets you download courses and learn offline to save data. This is a good fit for job seekers, students, and anyone who wants to start or grow a small business.

Requirements

  • Open to all South Africans, with no age limit
  • No matric or previous qualification required
  • Basic reading and writing skills in English (or one of the other supported languages)
  • Access to a smartphone, tablet or computer
  • Internet connection to register and download courses (courses can be completed offline on the app)
  • A valid email address to create a free HP LIFE account
  • Willingness to learn at your own pace

Responsibilities

  • Choose the courses that match your career or business goals

  • Pass the course assessment to earn your Certificate of Completion
