Job description

Sasol is hiring two Junior Chemical Plant Operators at its Alrode depot in Alberton. The role covers depot activities involving the receipt, storage and dispatch of product, including compliance with operating procedures, maintenance preparation, basic asset care and product sampling. Requirements

• N3/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
• NQF 2 Chemical Operations
• Occupational Trade Qualification (Chemical) / Chemical Plant Operator Qualification
• 1–2 years of relevant experience
• A Code 08 driving licence is optional

Responsibilities

• Handle receipt, storage and dispatch of product at the depot
• Follow safety, health, environmental, quality and standard operating procedures
• Assist with maintenance preparation and product sampling
