Call Centre Agent Learner

Job description

Europcar in Bruma, Johannesburg, is offering a 6-month fixed-term learnership for unemployed youth leading to a nationally recognised qualification in Contact Centre and Business Process Outsourcing Support (NQF Level 3). Learners gain exposure to call centre operations including reservations, customer service, rental administration and sales support. Applications close 12 November 2026.

Requirements

• Unemployed and available full-time for the learnership
• Aged 19 to 25 (flexibility may apply)
• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
• Proficient in English; other SA languages an advantage
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet)
• Valid driver's licence is an advantage
• Willing to undergo criminal and credit checks
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and overtime

Responsibilities

• Complete learnership classroom training, assessments and portfolio of evidence
• Answer inbound customer calls
• Process rental reservations, amendments, extensions and cancellations
• Handle enquiries on vehicle availability, pricing and policies
• Resolve complaints and escalate complex issues
• Maintain accurate customer records
