Job description
Dis-Chem is recruiting Dispensary Support Learners at Savannah Mall, Polokwane, to complete the learner basic pharmacist assistant course under the supervision of a pharmacist. Learners start on a fixed-term basis and are offered permanent employment once registered with the South African Pharmacy Council as learner basic assistants.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with required science and Pure Mathematics results
- Fluent in English and one additional language
- Attention to detail and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with sale of Schedule 1 medicines
- Prepare and merchandise dispensary stock
- Pick, pack and label medication
- Assist with medical scheme authorisations
