Finance Graduate (Credit Controller)

Job description

Guardrisk is offering a twelve-month Finance Graduate placement within its Credit Control function in Sandton. The programme gives an unemployed graduate practical exposure to financial operations and the relationship between credit control, cash flow and business performance. Work includes debtor management support, premium allocation, account reconciliations, collections and reporting. Mentoring and workplace development form part of the programme, but permanent employment is not guaranteed after completion.

Requirements

• South African citizen
• Currently unemployed
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma at NQF Level 7
• No previous participation in an internship or graduate programme
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
• Good written and verbal communication
• Willingness to develop within finance

Responsibilities

• Support debtor management, premium allocation and account reconciliations
• Assist with collections, reporting and stakeholder engagement
• Support resolution of account queries
