Job description

Four General Worker posts on 12-month contracts. Reference: VTVET 22/2026 (Circular 39 of 2026, Post 39/82). Salary R144,024–R169,656 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits. Requirements

• ABET Level 4 / Grade 10
• Able to read and write
• Cleaning training certificate advantageous
• Six months of cleaner experience advantageous, not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, hedges and landscaped areas
• Sweep pathways and collect litter and garden waste
• Operate, clean and store basic gardening equipment
• Report faulty equipment, damaged infrastructure and hazards
• Prepare outdoor areas for events and move furniture and materials
• Assist maintenance and Corporate Services staff
